The latest trends and styles in a nutshell
Florence, Italy On the 11th of January, the members of the ESCP Europe Luxury Society Turin had the possibility to do their first company visit at Pitti Immagine Uomo, which launched its 93rd edition.
Pitti Immagine is the best way for well-known and unknown stylists to show their
products, and for buyers to get updated of the latest trends & styles. Held in the Fortezza da Basso this year the event hosted 1.243 brands and was attended by more than 24.000 international buyers.
According to Pitti’s president Claudio Marenzi the export of fashion “Made in Italy” increased by about 3% with a significant growth in Korea and Japan.

From the British atmosphere at Corneliani to the dark ambiance at Karl Lagerfeld, from the cozy “rooms” of Birkenstock to the elegant barbershop of Brunello Cuccinelli, Pitti has the means to take visitors on a journey of experience, diving deep into the brand image and origin.
Besides, Pitti consists of the ancillary events related to it, like Claudio del Vecchio’s Brooks Brothers runaway show at Palazzo Vecchio, that celebrated its 200th anniversary this year.
The Runways of Jun Takahashi for Undercover and Takahiromiyashita for The Soloist affirmed the elegance and charm of the “Made in Japan” label, and with an area dedicated to the most promising designers as Mannisto or Rolf Ekroth from Northern Europe.
